I got to see the result of Scott Hantz's hard hit at Winchester up close today . The front clip is wasted, it's bent really bad on the right side. Just imagine taking a pop can(but being square tube) and stepping right straight down on it, that's what the square tube looked like. This car has already had one new front clip. And the left rear quarter is smashed in. Scott said he hit head on. You should see the flat spot on the left front tire. Thanks to the safety equipment in the car and the well built chassis, scott will race another day.

I heard this on the PC when I was listening to the race live and I was glad to hear Scott was not injured in this wreck as it sounded like a nasty one. Cars can be fixed people cannot be replaced. Safety equipment is a number 1 priority in my book.( I have to get a good plug in for that Hans device that Scott wears.) All racers should have one!
